Hey guys,

This is off the gaming path, but I thought some of you might be interested. Night of the Living Dead 3D, wherein I play the Priest/Zombie, is coming out on DVD this Tuesday, October 9th, 2007. The movie is presented in 3D and the package comes with 4 pairs of 3D glasses, so you can invite your friends over to watch it with you (so you don’t get scared). It’s a social thing . . . like playing games! (See how I sneakily created a mythical connection between watching this movie and gaming to justify my shameless self-promotion?). Anyway, it’s a Special Edition DVD that contains 2 hours of bonus materials including audio commentary, 3 making-of featurettes and best of all, bloopers! I don’t know if I’m in any of the extra material, but I could be. It should be pretty sweet. I hope you can check it out. Also, I’m in the movie a few times but briefly.

LOL… Glad to hear from you Rob. I did tell a few of the guys it would be fun to get together and watch this one. Do you know if it is going to be available for rental at all? If not, we may have to pool some dollars together and check it out. Thanks for the update. Hope to see you online this week!

Hey Chris, Thanks for the support! The movie is a regular DVD release like any other, so I’m sure it will be available for rental at Blockbuster and other rental outlets. My last DVD movie that came out was much more obscure than this one, and it was at Blockbuster. The only problem is, I don’t know if they will provide the 3D glasses with the rental. Netflix definitely has it for rent, but only the 2D version. I would check your rental place and see if they are going to provide the glasses. I’m sure I’ll see you online at some point this week. Take care, Robert
